THE CHALLENGE
EE Wood Ltd who supply cost-effective quality reclaimed wood from its base in Poland were looking to launch their products in foreign markets and engage with their target audience. Polish owned, based, and speaking company through newly established UK branch, wanted to promote and advertise their products to clients in England, Austria and Germany and was looking for a solution. The initial goal was to start communicating with these clients in their local language in professional and engaging way, before the company was able to employ local representatives.
THE RESULTS
We helped to create a new slogan for the company, and we localized brochures and presentations for EE Wood clients in England, Austria and Germany. PAB Team was also asked to manage social media accounts in the English language.
It was important to present the company history and origins of the reclaimed wood and to highlight the unique and high-quality offer.
We helped to boost awareness of the brand and within 3 months from launching the campaign, the company started to receive online enquires that lead to first reclaimed wood orders.
Our clients were excited to see that with our help and assistance they were able to secure first orders and now can employ business development staff that will help to grow the business further.
“I highly recommend PAB team for translation and localisation of product descriptions, brochures and presentations to support my overseas marketing campaign.” — Rafal Czerwiak

THE CHALLENGE
A manufacturing company in Essex purchased a very expensive packaging equipment from Italy.
However, the machinery did not work as expected and promised by Italian suppliers. The UK manufacturing company tried to communicate and sort out the problems, however, machinery still did not work as expected. They were ready to send the equipment back to Italy and start legal procedures to get money back. Before doing that, they decided to communicate with the supplier one more time with the help of the PAB Languages Team. The initial goal was to communicate the issues and inform about an intention to start legal proceedings.
THE RESULTS
We helped to prepare a brief for the supplier explaining clearly and accurately issues experienced by the client in the UK.
A Member of PAB Team came to the factory where the machinery was and together with the client’s engineer communicated with the Italian supplier. They managed to solve the problems and the UK engineers were able to address all the concerns and get exactly what they needed from the machinery.
As a result of effective communication, the two companies avoided possible litigation saving time, money and, most importantly, reputation.

THE CHALLENGE
Tesco BRC accredited John Saul Ltd is a three generations British family business producing top quality brassica, potatoes and cereals.
John Saul Ltd has a dedicated full-time workforce, however, some of the employees are not native speakers and ensuring communication of business-critical information was not possible internally. The accuracy of the language, empathy, and understanding of cultural differences of a multi-national workforce was critical to the effective communication.
The client needed a provider who understands the workplace and its cultural diversity, in addition to the communication challenges.
The client contacted PAB Team in 2014 with the initial goal to translate human resources materials including health and safety risk assessments and induction packs for their international employees.
THE RESULTS
We translated the materials from English into four languages and have been translating various documents for that client ever since.
As a result of delivering better communications the client benefits from well informed, happier and better engaged multi-national employees.
“We have used the services of PAB for over five years for document translations. We have always found staff at PAB Languages to be professional, helpful and polite and will continue to use their services in the future.” — Joanna Briggs
